Ense is a leader in plasma cutting in Northern Italy.


We have two plasma cutting machines, which guarantee a high-quality cut and great productivity.

Each machine has two plasma heads, with a high-definition 100 amp torch, which can mark pieces for easier recognition, a 200 amp torch and a high-definition 400 amp torch with a controlled head for welds up to 40 mm wide.

For cutting thick and thin sheet metal


Plasma cutting comes with much lower production costs than laser cutting. The speed and applicability of this technology should not be overlooked either. Plasma cutting is suitable for all electrically conductive materials. The torch provides an inert gas through a special nozzle, which forms an electric arc between an electrode and the surface to be cut. This electric arc transforms the gas into plasma, transferring heat to the metal material until it reaches melting temperature and breaks the continuity of the metal.


Plasma cutting can be done on both thick and thin sheets. It also lends itself effectively to contour cutting of pipes and other cylindrical materials, the creation of grooves and angled cuts, and chamfering or drilling processes. High-definition plasma cutting technology has made considerable progress in recent decades, developing ever faster and more precise cutting lines. It is also very popular in the ship-building industry and for creating and machining pressure vessels, as well as for earth-moving.
